My name is Jerry, and I currently live in a lovely city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

I finished university as a Mathematician and taught myself programming along the way, writing computer programs since early teens. The vast majority of my professional career I’ve spent in the Hedge Fund industry – researching, implementing and deploying quantitative trading strategies.

If I have any area of expertise, it is most likely one of the above. Therefore I’ll be mostly blogging about mathematics, programming, and finance.

One of my goals for this year (2017) is to write one informational article every month.

When not doing any of these things, I’m probably taking photographs, staying fit or trying to make other people laugh, but I probably don’t have too many insightful things to share about that.

I hope you’ll enjoy my blog, and come back here from time to time. If you’d like to get in touch, please email me.
